Course Description
Defensive Tactics graduates will be certified for 3-years.
The Defensive Tactics Instructor Course authorizes students to train and certify their security staff in:
- Defensive Tactics Basic Course 4 & 8 hour version (standard & modular format)
- Defensive Tactics Basic Re-certification Course
This course is one day in length and discusses the following:
- Introduction
- Use-of-Force
- Defensive Tactics Fundamentals
- Contact and Cover
- Escort Techniques
- Control and Decentralization Techniques
- Handcuffing Basic
- Blocking Techniques
- Weapon Retention
